Hi! Thank you for stopping by. So last week. I did a live demo on how to make this delicous dip and let everyone know that it will be available on my blog. Well here it is! I hope you all enjoy making it and please leave a comment if you do! first let me reintroduce myself. My name is Sayber Cloud. I am a personal/private chef and owner of Sayber's Cooking llc. I cook American style food with international flavors and ingredients! I provide Private dining experiences up to 20 people and live Cooking Classes. Ok, now that I have said my little spiel. Let us move on into the recipe!
Serving 4 people
1 tspb fresh parsley
1 tsp fresh thyme
1 tspb Thai basil
1/3 cup fresh cilantro
2 small avocados
salt and pepper to taste
take all herbs (parsley, thyme, basil, and cilantro) and rough chop it with a knife. once herbs have been chopped up enough to your liking. set them side.
take avocados sliced along the seed and open up. Now your avocado should be soft enough to just squeeze out of the skin or you can use a spoon and scoop it out. place it in a bowl or if you have a morter like I do. in the picture put it in that.
next sliced the lime in half and squeeze the juice directly over the avocado. use the whole lime.
take the herb put on top
add salt and pepper. *how much you use depends on you! My suggestion is to start off using 1 tsp of salt and pinch of pepper. It is always better to add a little at a time then to add to much at the beginning.
Now for the Fun part! the smoke part! I use a Mitbak portable handheld cold smoker. this smoker is great for infusing cocktails, fruit, or dips. Like what I did with this recipe. I if you do not have one. that is totally fine. you can use liquid smoke instead. Be careful when using it a little goes a long way! for this recipe. I would say to use 1/2 tsp .
Once you are done adding smoke to the guacamole. now it is time to smash it up! I like my guacamole a little chucky. So I don't smash my it up to much. If you like your guacamole with less chucky then keep smashing that thang up!
serve with your favorite chips and boom! everyone will go crazy over it!
